What should I do with an old conference table?

October 23rd, 2009 | by admin |

We’re getting a new conference table at work. The old one is very nice, but also very large (12 feet by 4 feet). It is made of particle board and veneer. We work on the 35th floor of a building.

The current plan is to dismantle the table and haul it off. This seems like a terrible waste. Can anybody think of somebody who would pick it up for me? We’d be glad to donate it or make use of its scraps or something.

Try your local craigslist–you can post an ad in the free section and i guarantee within minutes you will several folks willing to pick it up and haul it off for ya!

    Put it on Craigslist

put a price on it, you may even be able to make a little money, if you just want to get rid of it list it under FREE but they have to haul it away.
