Did you ever attend conferences organised by the CEWC (Council for Education in World Citizenship)?

What conferences did you attend? Did you ever travel abroad with the organisation?
I went to 2 conferences in London and also went on a trip to Berlin in the early 60s.

Yes, I seem to have answered this before. I used to go to meetings in London (great opportunity to explore other people’s schools) and attended one meeting at Central Hall, Westminster, where the most memorable speaker was the Archbishop of Canterbury, with his assertion that things ending in -ity tended to be good and things ending in -ism tended to be unpleasant. The students of the American School in London were very dominant because they were used to standing on their feet and arguing points (politicians and lawyers in the making!). I wish that I had attended more conferences and am very envious of your trip to Berlin.
