Yet another scheme (along with AGW) that will cost taxpayers $$$$??

This ’stuff’ is getting ridiculous!

"Forget Carbon, Copehagen Scientists Find New Target to Spend Our Money on - Nitrogen!"

An international group of scientists say there is an immediate need for a global assessment of the nitrogen cycle and its impact on climate.

On a planetary scale, human activities, especially fertilizer application, have more than doubled the amount of reactive nitrogen in circulation on land. This massive alteration of the nitrogen cycle affects climate, food security, energy security, human health and ecosystem health. The long-term consequences of these changes are yet to be fully realised, but the human impact on the nitrogen cycle has so far been largely missed in international environmental assessments.

Nitrogen’s role in climate change will be highlighted at an event on 7 December at the COP-15 United Nations Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen. Event organisers will be calling for a new assessment of nitrogen and climate, which will identify innovative nitrogen management strategies for global climate change mitigation and associated co-benefits to society."

There is nothing that a leftists wouldn’t want to regulate with the posible exception of their own excesses. I am not averse to some local regulations of fertilizer which can have detrimental affects to shared water and down stream eco-systems. Why anyone thinks the UN should be involved, or Copenhagen, is truely mind blowing. Eco-facists. What else can you call them.

The EPA will probably try to regulate Nitrogen as a pollutant, even though Nitrogen makes up approximately 80% of our atmosphere.

Nitrogen is vewy, vewy dangerous! In a double blind peer reviewed collective consensus, 2 out of 3 Gummo-Marxist crackpot scientists said it was dangerous. Now, kindly give up your freedom, send us some cash, and we’ll protect you from yourself.

I don’t know, but I think that the cure for it might involve magnetically filtered di-hydrogen oxide.

I can sell you a kit if you like for only $399.99

    You are scientifically illiterate.

We’ve significantly altered most of nature. The carbon cycle, the nitrogen cycle, the phosphorous cycle, ect.

Do you really think there are no implications from this
