August 28, 2007. On the second day of the conference, the participants visited several environmental facilities of the Bayer AG like a wastewater treatment plant and a incineration plant.
The Tunza International Youth Conference is a global youth forum of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP). 2007 the conference is held in Leverkusen, Germany, the headquarters of UNEP’s long-term partner - Bayer AG. The Conference theme: Technology in Service of the Environment.
